Our Nature Explorers Volunteer Program offers high school students the opportunity to earn community service hours while gaining hands-on experience in environmental education. Volunteers support our nature-based children’s program by assisting with outdoor learning activities, helping children engage with local ecosystems, and modeling positive behavior in the field. Participants will develop skills in teaching, local flora and fauna identification, basic survival skills, and perseverance through outdoor experiences.
We partner with local high schools and homeschool groups to provide meaningful, resume-building volunteer opportunities. The program director is available to sign off on official community service logs and provide letters of recommendation for volunteers who demonstrate exceptional commitment and leadership.
